Norma
Zuber is a National Certified Master Career Counselor and Registered
Professional Career Counselor in California, who for over 16 years
has effectively guided hundreds of people of all ages and from all
walks of life to achieve career satisfaction and balance in their
lives.
She is strongly committed to her field and brings extensive knowledge
and experience to her clients. She is a frequent guest instructor
at California State University and California Lutheran University,
and conducts career development workshops for the community-at-large
and at Ventura College.
Because of her extensive knowledge and expertise, Norma has been
listed as a resource in What Color Is Your Parachute? since
1984. She has been named to the National Distinguished Service
Registry for Counseling and Development in 1990 and is listed
in the Who's Who in American Women, Kensington Who's Who,
and the International Who's Who of Professional and Business
Women.
Zuber is a
contributing author of the book Nuts and Bolts of Career Counseling;
How to Set Up and Succeed in Private Practice and has authored
articles for various publications. Zuber was named in November,
1998, as the recipient of the California Career Development Association's
Practitioner of the Year award, presented at the International
Career Conference.
She has been an active member of the Board of Directors of the
California Career Development Association from 1985 to 1999, including
serving as president; the National Career Development Association,
Western Region Trustee 1995-98; the California Registry, 1992-97,
including two years as Chair; and was President of the Ventura County
Professional Women's Network for the 1999-2000 term. She has also
been a member of the California Association of Counseling and Development
since 1997.
She serves as an online career specialist and expert resource for
Career Builder and USA
Today.
